Emma´s Deli - Chapala

Saw this listed and had to try it since my wife loves Reuben sandwiches. She was not disappointed! These are excellent. I had the turkey sandwich and it also was very good. The service was a little slow but they are only open in the middle of the day and they are very popular (and with good cause). We will eat here again!

Terrific sandwiches and matzoh ball soup. Great service. Sweet garden in the back. Excellent house-made breads and bagels.

A Jewish Deli Lakeside?? Yes! Matzah balls like feathers, not the cannonballs my bubbie used to make. Pastrami on rye with sauerkraut and russian dressing( homemade I think) mouth watering. Cole slaw and pickles The cheesecake! To die for!!!! Comfortable interior, friendly service. I could close my eyes and I could have been at the Carnegie Deli in NYC.

Really great sandwiches. In addition to the regular menu, they have daily specials. Today, they had beef au jus. OMG, really amazing. Highly recommend a visit for lunch. The service was friendly and efficient.
