Avaliação da contribuiçãoI had a 30-40 minute wait for Sunday lunch, despite many tables being available. I noticed there were five waitstaff on duty, so it might have been the kitchen that was causing the delays. After being seated, we waited another 30-40 minutes for our food. Interestingly, a table of nine that was seated just ten minutes before us didn't receive their meals until 15 minutes after ours. This could be a management issue. Out of the four meals we ordered, the chicken sandwich and Gouda grits were good, but overall, the experience wasn’t worth a return visit. The facility is beautiful, but I won’t be coming back.
The restaurant features a full bar, making it a great spot to catch a game or enjoy cocktails with friends. The food was impressive as well. We started with the Southwestern Egg-roll appetizer, which my wife declared the best she's ever had. I opted for the beer cheese burger, which was a bit messy but absolutely worth it. The burger was cooked just right, and the combination of jalapeños and cheese was fantastic. The fries on the side were perfectly cooked. We also took home the chicken tender plate for a picky teenager, who gave it rave reviews. I'm really glad we decided to try this place and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area; it's not just for campers but a great family-friendly dining option as well.
As for amenities: there's a playground featuring a jungle gym and open fields for kids to play in. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. The park is also dog-friendly, with many people walking leashed dogs in the area, and the dogs seem very happy. Additionally, there are several covered picnic areas available for use.
The restaurant is stunning both inside and out, offering amazing views! It's charming, cozy, and quiet. The Baked Gouda Grits were delightful, while the chicken sandwich was just average. The service was outstanding – the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, though the wait for the food to arrive was a bit longer than expected. Overall, it's a truly beautiful place!
The restaurant offers a variety of fantastic playgrounds, making it a great spot for families. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. It's also very dog-friendly, allowing pets on leashes. There are plenty of shaded picnic tables for a nice outdoor meal, as well as larger areas available for groups.
