Price's Chicken Coop - Charlotte

Stopped by Price's Coop hoping for a WOW moment It didn't happen. Their chicken is cooked perfectly but something was obviously missing.

OH! MY! GAWD! BEST DAMN CHICKEN E-V-E-R! I used to live here in Charlotte but now I live in California. It was just as good as I remembered it!

Saturday 19th June 2021 recently announced as Price 's Chicken Coops last day. I'm in the snake at 7:00. Saturday morning 5 hours later or almost noon I finally made it to the door. The prices then announced that they were out of the chicken breast and can soon be out of almost everything because they close around 1:00 or so. I'm sure that would have been very disappointed for those in a line extending to blocks. I totally understand why they ran out, most customers went with four to eight chickens and fish filled boxes. You might have underestimated how much chicken they could sell. I have a few chickens, shrimp and my personal favorites, prices big fat fish sandwich . Was it worth the 5-hour waiting, maybe not, but it was delicious. I think at some point in the near future the Price Brand and Recipe will be back in Charlotte. I think the last days Friday and Saturday have definitely shown how strong their brand is. Best wishes for the prices and thanks for 59 years of filling these boxes.

Who needs grills when you get for this cheap food? Two pieces of dark meal with iced tea was $9, went in and out in less than 2 minutes. Two pieces of chicken, frits, 2 hush puppies, bread and hover with a pimp. Come back to dinner at any time

Fantastic chicken, with lots of taste without being overlaid, and very juicy and fresh with very fair prices, make sure to pay cash, no debit or credit cards accepted, unless you want to use the in-store ATM. There is a reason why they have been there since 1962, and everyone is welcome with beautiful parking back. Be careful, there might be a line, but for good reason!
