The Melting Pot Charlottesville

Came for restaurant week! Our waitress Caroline was so knowledgeable and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed and even brought us more things to dip! She was amazing for it being our first time at the melting pot it was an amazing experience. 12/10! The chocolate fondue was to die for! I wanted to take it home in a cup! Thank you so much!

Amazing not cutting. My wife came out for an early mother's day and not only was the food unbelievable, but the service really overhauled everything. Was super impressed by the owner on site to talk to customers, took our picture and supported his staff however needed. This is the difference between a boss and a leader and a leader. One of my best culinary experiences ever thank you!

The food was delicious, thanked me the next day!!! We did 4 courses. Salad, spinach artichokes fondue, came with bread, vegetables and apples.... Delicious!!! For our meat (Chicken Steak Tuna Shrimp. We chose the red wine Broth ..again so good!!! I am not for dessert, but the dark chocolate caramel cake with pecans was the bomb!!! Had a range of cakes, Brownies fruits add to chocolate fondue! The waiter even brought us additional cakes and fruit for free!!!

Great place for special occasions. Multiple choices for a 4-course dinner. Remember, it is table cooking so that everyone at the table must agree on most options. (Entree and Dessert are both made at the table) Delicious cocktails, and their salad choices are all very good, but try the apple bacon spinel!

We chose this place as Date Night and were not disappointed. The food was excellent, and offered many different options to choose from. The duck, sirloin, chicken, shrimp all seasoned well, cooked in the coq au vin pot and paired with their sauces was amazing! The owner was attentive and very personal and made us welcome for our first visit. It was a really great experience and was happy to come back!
