George Inn - Charnwood

The George consistently amazes us with its outstanding food, exceptional presentations, and excellent staff. The cleanliness of the restaurant is impeccable and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Just when I thought they couldn't get any better, I tried the lamb cutlets from the specials board today and they completely blew me away.

Absolute favourite place, customer cares excellent, foods outstanding, atmospheres fabulous, food presentations amazing. always go above and beyond.

We thought we'd try Sunday lunch for a family lunch mainly because it was half way between us. What a good decision! We got there early so were shown to the lovely cosy bar by the friendly staff and shown to our seats at the alloted time. We all chose the Sunday roasts, beautifully cooked and plenty of it with loads of fresh veg. Staff seemed really young were but attentive and obviously well trained and kept us topped up with drinks in non pushy manner. Puddings , followed by coffees, again all excellent and well served and a thoroughly pleasant experience. We will obviously return but will book early as we can now see why it's so popular

Oh my word the Chef excelled himself yesterday, my pork was delicious. Served by the best team ever. Food was hot beautifully presented, they were so busy but nothing was to much trouble. Excellent all round, Lucy you are fa, as is Val and the rest of the team.

This was our 2nd visit and just like our first visit it was faultless. The food on both occasions was spot on and the service was very good. Rest assured we will be back.
