Mountsorrel Fish - Charnwood

We have been getting our fish and chips from here for many years. The food is always good and piping hot and the staff friendly. It's good value too. They do an excellent cod roe with very light batter the best I've had in Leicestershire.

Lovely food no matter what you have and always piping hot because they generally cook to order rather than having lots of selection in the warm cabinet. Pizza’s are amazing and probably the best in the area in my opinion anyway.

Lovely chip supper on a Friday evening Portions are plenty and staff are friendly lots on the menu from traditional fish and chips to pizza and kebabs. Kids menu is good and portion size is good.

Good service and great food. Best chips around the area. The batter on the fish was very light and crispy.

Just had fish and chips and sausage, fish cake and chips, it was fab. Excellent fish and chip shop, highly recommended.
