Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy friends and I have been enjoying dinners at Lissner's Restaurant on a monthly (and sometimes fortnightly) basis over the last year or so. The interior layout is elegant with long velvety drapes, white table linen and polished silver cutlery plus the customer service has always been friendly and welcoming. The restaurant changed management a few months ago which brought improvements such as adding more variety to the menu and the installation of air-conditioning.Although attached to the Park Hotel/Motel this restaurant is better suited for couples, groups of friends and older families as it doesn't really cater for young children. It is however an ideal venue if you like to chat whilst you enjoy a pleasant meal without competing to be heard over loud music or overly vocal patrons at a bar.
This is the second time we have had dinner here and would visit again. The food is good, but we especially love the "kooky" hotel atmosphere and the waiter who sits down with you to take your order and have a chat. We'll be back.
Friendly service and a quaint, olde worlde setting. Very disappointed to have our steaks over-cooked though. Would not recommend if you love a medium-rare steak.
The menu choices were vast but the chance of trying the good old steak sandwich really appealed to me. There were many additional ingredients which made this is the best I've ever tasted (and I've eaten many over the years). So my sincere thanks for making this meal my great memory of Charters Towers.
Good home cooked meal, the rissoles are great desserts are simply delicious and breakfast a very good start to the day all served by very friendly people who cant help you enough.
