Avaliação da contribuiçãoGot some chicken fried rice and a small Tom Yum soup for lunch. The Tom Yum could taste the sugar. It's flavor wasn't balanced properly. Tom Yum shouldn't be THAT sweet. And it had only 1 small shrimp floating in it.The chicken fried rice tastes like.... nothing.Small pieces of chicken are barely seen . I wanted a lot of vegetables in the dish so they charged me extra 2$ for barely no vegetables ( see pic)My friends salt and pepper pork chops were decent tho.I would of rate it "Average" but the extra charge for almost no vegetables ruined it completely.Would not recommend and would not go back
We have ordered takeout several times, on recommendation that food was better there than Zen Noodles. I find quality, taste and quantity were pretty much the same, except their fried calamari which was much better. Overall, the food is ok and we would have ordered again when craving Asian takeout - except that the young man who invariably delivers is terribly afraid of dogs and makes a huge fuss of not wanting to come close to the door. Errrrr.... Yeah, we have a killer 5lbs Pom & a 25lbs Australian shepherd, and they are restricted by a gate. But just the bark seems to be too much - I've never seen someone so terrified. I can certainly understand phobias but having to go outside in January to pay is kind of a drag. I just feel too badly about this man being so scared - so unfortunately I've stopped getting takeout from them.
Was there last week with a group. I ordered 2 appetizers and my wife had a main course. Food was ok but the bill was high for what we ate. I should have asked for a detailed bill as they do not render the bill at your table but you pay at the front desk...Very odd practice.
The food is very good and has a lot of flavor but they are slow and got my order wrong. Always check your order before you leave to be sure you have everything you ordered for.
We get to Chateauguay several times a year for family visits, during which we usually go out for lunch. We're always on the lookout for new eating options, and this was our first time at this restaurant. The three of us each tried a different chicken dish (five-spice, curry, and pineapple), and we were all pleased with the quality and quantity of our meals. Better yet, my wife and I shared the sauteed eggplant with basil, and it was excellent. Service was a bit slow (the restaurant was fairly empty, but a number of people came in to pick up takeout while we were there), but friendly, and our water glasses were kept topped up. This is not haute cuisine, but this place offers good value, and we will definitely return.
