Avaliação da contribuiçãoGood food, but all of our group miss the pre-covid sit down and order instead of the pay by the weight style now.
First of all, you need to know that this is not a sit down and get waited on type of restaurant. You can serve yourself from the hot bar and order cold salads from the deli area. You will eat off of a cardboard disposable plate or a to go box. Everything else is takeout. We must've gotten there after the lunch rush because only one table was clean. There was dried food on the wall next to our booth. The food is like what you'd get at a southern church potluck, or Grandma's Thanksgiving dinner. It's just like homemade, but a little underseasoned. Overall, the food was good. There was something there labeled as Brunswick stew, but when I looked at it and stirred it, it looked like tomato soup. I hope it was mislabeled, though I was looking forward to some Brunswick stew. I would go back if I was craving home-cooked southern food but didn't want to make it myself.
Food is homemade and fabulous! Would highly recommend. Ryan was great at showing us how they work. Easy, Peasy. Homemade Peanut Butter cake was fabulous. Not just icing was peanut butter but cake was too! Not super sweet! Just right for a couple of bites!
Not what I expected as in food choices. Don't bother to go a waste of time.
I eat here all the time and like the changing menu and you picking what you want and how much of it you want of that item. Love the desserts and the chicken strips.
