Applebee's Grill - Chelsea

This place needs staff. The staff that are here handle the guests as best they can. Wait times are very long, but food comes out ok. The reason staff is leaving is because the guests are so rude to the employees. I wish this store th best!

On Veteran?s Day my Veteran husband wanted to eat there but due to illness he was unable to go so I ordered take out! They got our order ready fast but the food was not good at all! I had a shrimp dish and many of the shrimp were stuck together withvery thick batter and very over cooked. My slaw had hardly any dressing so I put some dressing on it at home. My husband got apasta dish he had before that he really liked but it had so little sauce in it that he didn?t enjoy it all. I hope the Veteransthat were able to eat in the restaurant got better food than our take out! We have been going there every year on Veteran?s Dayfor many years and we were very disappointed.

Very slow service. I've given them multiple times to make things right but this location needs to change management and get employees that actually want to work. Last time here and from the conversations I'm hearing around me others feel the same.

This is our 3rd visit and likely last. Greeted by hostess who committed that it was a bit slow for a Sunday. First visit we waited 45 minutes pass the time quoted that food would be ready. Second time the order was an hour late with wrong food order.Today we were seated but waitress never came. She walked over to the area and spoke to the only other couple in the section asshe wiped a table. They committed on when order would be ready. She never acknowledged us. Employee at the bar made eye contactand watched us walk out.

Hubby and I live in Chelsea and never have we EVER experienced a night like tonight. Greeted by Mgr. John Dardsden, we were served with excellence and the food was oooooh so good. After having repeated disappointing visits in the past, we'd given upand decided we wouldn't return. Tonight's experience changed all that. Great Management won us back as regulars!!! ThanksJohn????
