Avaliação da contribuiçãoI had cod and chips on Sunday. one must say one of the best I've ever tried. batter was thin a crispy the fish was well cooked and knows all the way through. Tartare sauce and chips were on the spot. definitely back.
Excellent cod and chips, cooked to order. gluten-free teig. for £14.50 I think the fish should have been bigger and more chips. but excellent quality and service.
We had lunch here and had the big cod and the seaweed. the prices were on the high side £10 compared to fish chips shops in the opposite, but the ambiente and service was good. I liked they had a mix of chips and salat as a side with their fish. they also allow them to have additional refills of chips unlimited. the seaweed and the big cod were similar, so I am not sure whether it is worth going for the larger size. the fish itself tasted very good and fresh. the teig was crisp and everything was served piping hot. we also tried the curry sauce and gravy. I have preferred the curry sauce, but this is probably a personal preference. overall a very good experience, but I left it 1 star on the basis of higher cost compared to other local shops and the large cable share no greater than the regular seaweed share.
Probably the nicest Fish and Chip Shop I have been to. Not cheap but very good quality. Lovely Cod in crispy light batter and good chunky chips.
Underwhelmed and over priced. The chips were the worse I've ever eaton. I would not recommend. Shame, was really looking forward to my dinner, but only the scampi was edible.
