We've been there for many years. My favorite place to stop when you travel from Chicago to St. Louis. The best food around! Huge menu to choose from. Huge portions. Service was fantastic! Make sure you have space for desserts that are homemade. I have read other reviews and one there were 3 starts for the liver onions. Since I don't eat liver onions that I give 5 stars.

The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy. The waiter was quick to fill a drink when he ran low and the food was hot, tasty and plentiful you won't let starve! You have a lot of choices so it can take you a while to decide what to get.

The waiting staff and chefs and food are amazing in this restaurant. If you are made for the atmosphere and food with this house taste, a classic dinner, this place is a must stop experience. Clean and welcoming, not waiting, a touch of hospitality that you can no longer find! A warm thanks to the staff for an excellent evening.

This place always had great food. I stopped tonight because I couldn't eat all day for a medical procedure. I'm on a restricted diet for the next two days and they could put this diet.

We came here with our daughter and her family. It is so nice that they have the outside seating. It was comfortable and refreshing. The service is fast and friendly. And then there came the food. Fresh and hot. A very good deal for the price.
