Avaliação da contribuiçãoI went back to sweet claude’s in 2015 when I heard that they wore vegan ice cream, and that was huge for me then, as I missed the ice experience very much. unfortunately I wasn't fan of the tofutti ice cream. it wasn't good and I couldn't even finish it. textur was bizarre and the aromen were not good. one for the effort but and try to think of vegan.
Sweet claude’s is a cute barn style decorated ice place with a few vegan tofutti options (in the rule 2-3.) they have everything they would expect at a regular ice place without special vegan toppings or something, but still a nice place to visit in the summer. they have parking behind the building and the staff was quite knowledgeable what items are vegan and what are not (cones and toppings.) the prices are fair and it is a beautiful past time to hang out and enjoy an ice cone. this is the only place in the immediate environment that currently has vegan options.
Small place with something for everyone. they had 4 tofutti selections on the menu, the day I went in. the peanut butter taste was excellent.
Located in a beautiful historic building in Cheshire, Connecticut, right along the walking trail The parking is easy, and the place is usually loaded with people! Now I know why The homemade ice cream is just simply amazing. Just choose your flavor and you're guaranteed to savor every lick of the cone or bite from the spoon. Many sizes available from the kids cup to holy cow size to take home. This place is a must visit. If you are cruising around Cheshire, this place is a must visit destination. You cannot miss having some of their delicious ice cream; you just can't. Now, every time I am near Cheshire, this will be a destination, no matter what's going on in my life. I hope you visit this place soon; you will not regret it.
Sweet Claude's is a fantastic ice cream spot located in Cheshire, Connecticut. They recently relocated from Route 10 to a new building on West Main Street as part of the Ball Socket Arts building. I visited their new location and although the interior is different, they still serve their delicious homemade ice cream. I tried the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup flavor in a waffle cone and it was excellent. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. The new location has more parking and benches for seating compared to their old location. Don't forget to add Sweet Claude's to your list for a Connecticut ice cream tour this summer!
