Jamaica - CHIANCIANO TERME

We stopped here on the way and discovered this place. A little dated interior, but very kind and trained staff. Excellent pizza. It is rare to find such a light and digestible dough. Bookmarked for a possible return to taste something else by the Chef

The service was excellent, personable. The food was wonderful. The Calzone filled a platter. Ordered 2 and took one with us, so glad we did. Returned at the end of the week to enjoy one of their very large pizzas. We will return again.

It 's not off the beaten path, you will drive by Jamaica many times if you are in the Chianciano Terme Sarteano area. We went went friends based on the recommendation of their gardener. Really, this is a locals only place absolutely no tourists they 're all at the the popular tourists stops. They are known for their pizza very thin crust with a wide variety of toppings. The rest of the menu is traditional and rates good to very good. Be forewarned, the pizza is a personal size, but you will probably only manage half of it. So either share it or porta via for leftovers. We will be back.
