Kudos to the owner for having a kids' play area in this restaurant. Our kids had fun playing while waiting for the ordered food. None of the staff was arab, however they all seemed trained to cook taste arabic food. 2 notes which we disliked about their service; they don't serve bread with hummus; you'll have to order it separately and it costs alot (compare to other places) for a one piece since is locally made I guess! 2nd part, they bring the shakshooka on a cooking bowl with fire lit under it, without any instructions of the waiting time for it till its cooked to our expectation! Love this place. The food was amazing, the staff was attentive and nice. Definitely a place to go if you want hummus, falafel and shakshuka. Ordered a classic shakshuka and Baba ganash. Within 5 minutes we received our shakshuka. Little did we know, that the eggs were raw with a flame underneath. We were then informed that we had to cook the shakshuka ourselves. The picture within the menu showed fulled cooked eggs in a bowl. The babaganash was far from authentic, however this could partially be due to Thai eggplant. Overall, the staff were nice enough to allow us to not pay for the meal although we had offered. It also appears that other people where enjoying there food so it may just be my preference or the specific items that was ordered. I would suggest in future that the restaurant should inform the customers that there is some self assembly involved as maybe I would have been up for the challenge.
