Avaliação da contribuição10/10 highly recommend! The food is great, the drinks are creative and ample. We learned about 18th Street Bourbon from a Black owned distillery (which is ironically in Hammond, ha! I recommend the fukien fried rice and the lychee martini. I regret notgetting their name, but the staff person working our table was so kind and welcoming. They even played Billy Ocean!!
Great service. Nice variety on the menu. Vegetarian friendly options.
Really high quality food, you can tell they know what they're doing in preparing their wide variety of Chinese cuisine. We particularly loved the Japanese tofu and have never had tofu like that before. All dishes were excellent. They are stillgetting a full staff established so there may be some small hiccups in service, but nothing to make it not worth the visit. Theowner is often on the floor and clearly works very hard to make sure customers have a great experience. Overall, a great diningexperience and I wish them well in these tough times for restaurants, especially those less than a few years old.
We just came from a dinner at Jade Court and we are so pleased: the food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. We happened to meet the owner on the floor and so knowing a thing or two about food we asked her to just bringwhat we should eat for our group of five. She had the kitchen prepare several appetizers, and five entrees for our group offive: it was all fresh and sublimely delicious. The dumplings hummed with flavor, the crispy salt and pepper tofu delivered anamazing silken tofu texture, and she brought us a beef dish with ginger that was a revelation not to be missed. We will gladlyreturn whenever we get the chance. It is clear why they have earned a place on Eater's 38 Essential Chicago Restaurants, and onehopes it makes its way back to the Bib Gourmand list soon.
Very disappointed. Last week I spent $32 on dinner. Ordered shrimp egg rolls, wonton soup and lemon chicken with added broccoli. The lid wasn't on the soup and the broth spilled out on the way home. Good thing it was on the floor of my car. Lemon chicken was not good. Way too sweet and the breaded chicken was soggy. Broccoli was crunchy. Rice was hard and dry. Eggrolls were OK but tiny. Wontons were good but no broth which is what i wanted. I called to complain. They first said they'drefund the whole amount. Then they said they'd give me a $5 credit for the soup and I just had to give my phone next order. So I called again tonight. They had no record of my original order, my phone or name. They said they refunded me but therefund is not in my bank account. She then put me on hold and accidentally hung up on me but then called back. Wasted at least10 minutes at this point. After a few more minutes someone else gets on the phone and asks for my name and phone . Are youkidding me? I just repeated my name and number at least 4 times! I asked where the other person was, explained the situationall over again and asked what the resolution is...a refund or a $5 credit? Because I'd like to know before ordering. She saidshe didn't know but she just was sent to take my order. Forget it. I'll order a pizza. Too bad. 2 strikes now. Not sureI'll try a 3rd time.
