I've had heard this place has good food. First time being there today, and I had a horrible experience.I worked at the festival today, anybody working there knew it was really cold, I was shivering how cold I was. I decided to go get some PR food. 3 people in front of me and 3 people in back. They were all taken care of. I waited there 50 mins, I had asked the lady how much longer is my food going to take. They said that the person that took my order didn't put the receipt up for them to make it, and he claimed he did. As that said, whether he didn't put it up, or they gave my food away, I spent 50 minutes of my time and I couldn't wait another minute. He said they would make my food, to give them a min.They didn't try to accommodate me in any way. Honestly I'm just really disappointed that I didn't have the same experience as other people. I understand accidents happen, If they had accommodated me in any way we would have probably had a different conversation. Most than likely, I will not be giving this restaurant another try after this experience.

I ordered for the first time, Never Again…. We ordered beef stew, and we got the meat dry, the beans had a burned taste, I ordered 2 Alcapurrias, one was fresh but the other one was stale hard, even my 8 year, notice the beef stew dry?? The white was good!

Food was amazing especially the alcapurrias, made me feel like I was back home ??Food: 5/5

It's a small restaurant. The front part is for carry out. It has real authentic Puerto Rican food. I love their pastels, they're the best I have had in a restaurant. I usually get the arroz con gandules and pernil. Plus the side of pastel. They give slices of fresh French bread with butter. Price is reasonable.Very busy on weekends, you might have to wait. Service when busy is not very good. Only street meter parking.
