Bett's Big T - Chiefland

The food is generally good, and the service is usually quite satisfactory. However, I did have one experience where the service was absolutely terrible. The server delivered the food in several trips, with long delays in between, and became rude when I pointed out that a side dish they brought after we had nearly finished our meal was supposed to be included. They even tried to charge extra for it. At that point, I couldn't help but ask if she could read the menu properly, which seemed to deeply offend her. Fortunately, the owner spoke to us the next day, and I must say that the issues we encountered were not repeated. In today's world, decent workers can be hard to find, so don’t let one poor experience define your impression of a business.

The food was quite good, but the service was inconsistent. It's a traditional country restaurant—simple, but well-kept and clean.

Absolutely fantastic! We've passed by this restaurant countless times, and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the fried pork chops, and they were incredibly juicy and delicious! I chose three sides: lima beans, cabbage, and corn, and I was not disappointed at all. My husband had the hamburger steak along with mashed potatoes, corn, and coleslaw, and he was equally pleased. I also noticed that on weekends they offer all-you-can-eat seafood. Although we didn't partake, the table beside us was enjoying it, and the crab legs just kept coming! Based on our experience, I would highly recommend this restaurant with a 10/10 rating.

READ FIRST All food ordered was cold and pre made, nothing was fresh. I ordered all you can eat seafood. It should be called all you can stomach. The fried catfish fillets had the skin left on (barf that was a slimy surprise). I will be deworming myself tonight. Nothing had good flavor. Only leaving this review because I am nauseous 5 minutes after I left. I will not be back.

Food was hot.and delicious. Fast service with happy people.
