Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Chillicothe

Thought third time would be a charm, but nope. The food is subpar, we never get what we order, and for the price, the portions are tiny. Creamed spinach was paste, the meat was fatty, ordered jalapeño beans and got mac and cheese. What is wrong with these people?

Got the 2/24 but the Mac and cheese was substituted with the potato casserole and we got corn muffins instead of rolls which we didn't like so we were down a side and roll. Otherwise the beans, coleslaw and meat were good.

Well first the 2 for 24 was 30 bucks. They forgot the bbq sauce, plastic utensils, and napkins. The sausage was cut weird and very dry to where it was like jerky. I usually like the meat. The chicken and brisket was good. I have never been happy with their sides.

Horrible. Don't waste your money. The ribs were dry like jerky filled with fat. Pulled pork the same way. Max Cheese is like school cafeteria macaroni. The Brioche bun must've been sitting out for a week it was so dry. Chillicothe has a food truck with better smoked meat for cheaper. I'm bummed I had hopes for this place. Very unfortunate experience, if you do eat here I hope you have a better experience than me.

This place has majorly turned around !! My coworkers and I come here every week for lunch and Craig always takes great care of us !! Keep up the great work and the good food!!
