The Nile Takeaway - Chorley

Final straw here I’m afraid. Not been for some time after previous misdemeanours, however after much deliberation, decided to try it one more time. So picture it. Trying to persuade the other half to go again after the last disastrous encounter we had, it was ordered with much trepidation. Well I will keep it simple. At the time of ordering we was out. Simple as. Out. Away from home. We therefore after ordering selected OUR specific time knowing that we would be back. NOT before but hopefully not too long after our time specifics. What do they do? You guessed correct. Arrived 30 minutes early when nobody was in. Been in this position before. Two options. Leave it on the doorstep or take it back. Recently we asked them to take it back. Mistake. Gets returned later and your guess is as good as mine what you get. So on this occasion we used our ring door bell( fortunately or unfortunately) to speak to the driver with limited English to leave on the doorstep as we could make the journey home within 10 minutes if needed. Not ideal but no other reasonable option. So arrived at home and took the food in off the doorstep. Thankfully no cats about Further issues. All the requested sauces were not in the meals. I specifically asked for the Nan bread to be well baked and not the usual uncooked dough and this was requested twice. Yep, it was barely cooked. The whole meals were all cold and after a few mouthfuls the lot went into the bun. £30 down the drain. Again. The chicken in the kebab was non existent and with cold donner meat was not a nice combination. So lessons learned. First is simple. Don’t ever go here again. That’s the best option. The other is if you order food at a speci timeand not ASAP then I expect you adhere to that as that is why a time has been selected. Simple. If and this is a big IF, you find the need to order f et on here then do CASH ON DELIVERY. That way you control the deal and you can send it back. Better still. Avoid

Sorry guys but the kebab was tasteless the fries are terrible to thin overcooked and again tasteless even with salt a poor takeaway cannot recommend

I just tried the chicken tikka salad from this place and it was delicious. I believe it was a great deal for the price. This was my first time trying the food here and I will definitely be coming back next time I am in Chorley.

Ordered food from here and we requested no ketchup on one of the burgers as was allergic to it and it came with ketchup we then rang up to complain and the guy was very rude and ended the call I would not recommend very very rude people

Ordered a lamb salad kebab. Took two bites then decided this was unfit for human consumption. Meat was stringy and had a foul odour. Two days later I awoke in the early hours with the most excruciating pains in my stomach. Cue ONE MONTH OFF WORK. ONE MONTH IN AGONY. GP confirmed Campylobacter bacteria food poisoning...case referred to Public Health England. AVOID THIS PLACE!
