Rubio's Coastal Grill - Chula Vista

Stopped here for a quick bite after getting lost in the area. What a surprise to find fresh seafood featured in a clean, bright cheerful fast food setting. Patrons were raving about the fish tacos. We found the variety of Mexican style seafood interesting.

Rubio' sis a great place for a fast, casual, but incredibly tasty meal. My party had their original fish tacos and the shrimp tacos--all were great. I think the shrimp tacos were the best ones that I had on this trip to San Diego, and I had fish tacos in at least 3 other places. Great cheap eats!

I really like this chain of restaurants. Consistantly good food and made fresh to order. My fav is the portebello and pablano taco plate. .... Mmmm. Staff is friendly and the place is kept clean. Vegetarian friendly.

Rubio's is great for quick and delicious Mexican style seafood cuisine. Some of their specials are seasonal. Among our whole family, we've probably tried almost everything on the menu, and we have yet to find a dish we didn't like. Relatively quick service.

Good is great and service quick and good. Tuesday's special 3 Shrimp Tacos for $7.99!!! You can't beat that, we are happy campers
