Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy husband and I enjoyed the drinks, artichoke appetizer, fresh seafood, and dessert! The bread pudding was so delicious! We just celebrated our 36th wedding Anniversary! Also, the server was awesome! Love, love, love this restaurant!
1. Mal visit and well worth reservation. Come with an empty stomach and a thick wallet. The prices reflect the amazing quality and presentation of entries. The steak I ordered was very delightful and delicious. The others in my party also enjoyed meals there.
First visit. Luckily it wasn't busy for us. You have tables, but we decided to sit at the bar. The appetizer of ’Sourdough Service’ together with a vodka tonic. Service was attentive, and the appetizer was amazing. Grilled sourdough bread served with a herbal butter, pickled green salad, and selection of ricotta cheese or house made pastrami. I decided to have both ricotta and pastrami. A good choice for an appetizer. I will definitely return to try more menu items.
I wavered quite a bit on whether to give four stars or five. If I could give four and a half stars, I would. We were very happy with our visit here. For starters, they have plentiful outdoor seating (our number one requirement to visit a restaurant these days). The food was also all very good. We got the Sourdough Service (every part of it was good. Even the little salad garnish in the middle was surprisingly good, although quite salty), Cornbread (always delicious; much thinner pieces than you see most places), Baked Mozzarella (this was a little disappointing. Unlike most Baked Mozzarella we've had other places, this is essentially just a bowl of marinara sauce with a little cheese it and garlic bread for dipping), Crispy Pork Belly Mac ~n~ Cheese (a very unique taste. Unlike any Mac ~n~ Cheese I've ever had. A creamy white cheese sauce with tiny pieces of pork belly), and Whiskey Braised Pork Shank (meat is fall-off-the-bone tender and carrots are sweet and tasty. Warning: the Blue Cheese Chive Whipped Potatoes are extremely heavy-handed on the Blue Cheese. This is not necessarily a bad thing if you like Blue Cheese, but be aware. They essentially taste like a pile of Blue Cheese with the consistency of Whipped Potatoes). While not a cheap place, our bill did come out to much less than I expected. We also got dessert (not pictured, since we were full and ordered it to go): Cherry Bread Pudding (good, not great. Essentially, just a bread pudding with a cup of the same cherry jam from the Sourdough Service on the side) and Pretzel Peanut Butter Fudge Frozen Mousse (this is an ice cream-type dish, à la frozen custard. We strongly suggest stirring it up well before eating it, because the bottom inch or so is just pretzels). The food was all good and there is more on the menu we are interested in, so we would definitely come back, but aren't in a big hurry to do so.
5 stars for the food. Four adults, 4 different entrees, all out of this world delicious! Nice facility, cozy ambience. Can't recommend the food any higher (not cheap, but oh so wonderful! . Service, on the other hand, left much to be desired. Nice young server, but after taking our orders a young couple came in who were obviously her friends. From then on we had to raise our hand to get her attention. Never came back to refill our water and tea; we ordered dessert and waited 30 min (she told us after we ordered that the dessert we ordered took a little xtra time . We ended up being last customers to leave...745pm reservation, they closed at 9, we left at 920pm...after taking our desert to go . Loved our dinner; service made it a lot less enjoyable evening.
