Avaliação da contribuiçãoA very friendly and relaxed hostel led by a local family. A nourishing atmosphere, mosquito-safe sleeping rooms, economic prices, a stovetop and naturally tasty and large meals are to be expected.
I like it here. Nice budget hostel in the center of town, led by a family. I rented a dirt bike for a good price that we used for a day around the hills. They brought us coffee in the morning and WiFi is strong.
I stayed two nights with this warm and nice family. They cook good real Colombian lunch with soup as starter and then various types of meeting with rice, salad and beans. They are a very welcoming family and this is a very good way to stay and learn a little from the true Colombian culture.
Food is great, hostel not so much. The staff is friendly, amenities are not great. Outdoor kitchen could use totes to keep cookware clean and a fridge/garbage. Backyard area for sitting is dirty/bottom. There are 4 hammocks to hang in. The connected restaurant provides a loud and early morning as there are no windows that separate the rooms from the outside. It's across from Central Park, which provides a loud evening. Good location.
Gave it a few stars only because they do keep the place clean. However: Drunk owner with blasting music playing outside (and refused to turn it down after 10 pm), toilets do not flush, no toilet paper.....but the worst of it, they lock (with a piece of wood) the access to the dorm room area, so if you need or want to leave the room at night, you are LOCKED IN till next day!!!! One night there was more than enough
