J Gumbos - Cincinnati

The food is great from here. I generally get voodoo chicken or the Jean lafitte bowl which are great. This time I tried the honey sriracha queso too and the dog was glued to my side until the last drop was gone.

I had the gumbo and added shrimp to it which were undercooked the sauage tasted weird as well, and the roux had a burnt taste to it. Probably the worst gumb i ever had. Havent tasted the red beans and rice yet because i bought that to carry to work for lunch tomorrow fingers crossed.

Very tasty! I think the brown rice is slightly undercooked but edible. I chose the Bourbon Street Chicken and Honey Siracha chicken. I enjoyed both but enjoyed the Honey Siracha more. Its not too spicy but just enough to help open my sinues . The Bread Pudding w/Rum Sauce is beyond tasty. Reminds me of New Orleans original. Will purchase again.

Horrible , have been getting food from here for years . Watered down , hardly and chicken , absolutely no sauce .... what a waste of money , very disappointed, not their usual fare
