SKYLINE CHILI - Cincinnati

We have Skyline in Central Ohio but there's something about it in Cincinnati. It just tastes better. Stopped by this location on our way through town. Staff were super friendly and responsive to needs. The food...perfect. Piping hot, fresh and had that only in Cincinnati flavor!!! Well done everyone!! P.S. 5 way is the best!!!!!! 5

Skyline is truly a Cincinnati staple. This trip was like most to the chain, food was delivered quickly and the order was correct. Portions seemed skimpy, especially the spaghetti portion of the 4 way I ordered. Pasta is probably the cheapest component of the dish, shouldn't be a reason to skimp on that. Overall the meal was what is to be expected from this restaurant.

This smaller Skyline still has a more classic-looking exterior sign but a fully updated interior. Growing up I frequented with my maternal grandmother. Nowadays my childhood playmate lives nearby and I go with him when I'm in the area. In January of 2005 there were workers here who were talking to each other in Greek. I don't know if they were the founder's sons who still run the company or someone else. But I have researched Skyline's history and know the chain was founded by a Greek immigrant in 1949. So it made sense.

My family goes to this skyline chili all of the time!! It is always great, quick, and we get perfect service! The food of course is amazing and I am always craving skyline. Our servers are always accommodating and helpful for when our big family gets together! There is lots of room and never a long wait on food!

The special chili recipe has been a "local" Cincinnati flavor since around 1948.
