I was notified that my food was ready on my way there, when I arrived, the off duty sheriff officer would not let me in. When finally got in, 10 or 12 minutes later, I asked for my food to be recooked. I was told no because it was just put out even though the Tex told me it was ready for pick up and p minutes earlier
I'm rating on this last time I went. The flounder was dried out and not white on the inside as usual. It was old or was cooked in old oil. First time for everything, I guess.
I've enjoyed Capttain Steve's food for 7 years. It has remained exceptional, but I may not return after my last visit. The problem is their ude policy, instituted during COVID, of making customers wait OUTSIDE. Yes, there is limited wait seating inside and the manager stated it works better “For us”. It may work fine “For them”. But, will it continue when the weather is undesirable? I'll not return and know of many other restaurants that treat their customers as wanted guests. ,
This was just a bad cook day.. had oysters and flounder it was over cooked and hard as a rock first time ever and everything went wrong was highly disappointed not to mention 30min drive and $53.00 short but my friend did enjoy his platter
