Mai Thai Cuisine - Clarendon County

Visiting from out of town don't go here. Apparently they don't need business. They aren't exactly reliable with their business hours. The hours on the door say they open at 4:30 pm. It's 5:00 pm and the door is locked. If you want Thai food try another place, they appear to be closed.

Hands down one of the best restaurants (well, certainly one of my favorites) and a hidden gem in West Columbia. Every single menu item is amazing and I go there regularly enough to make my way around the menu. Food arrives to table hot and fresh. Please be aware that your food is actually being made fresh in the kitchen so there could be a wait, but it never disappoints and is always worth the time spent. Boba is also available and is ALWAYS quality.

Simply excellent food and service. An evening here is an event, to be enjoyed, never rushed.

We had the steamed dumplings, drunken noodles, coconut soup with veggies, and a pad Thai dish. For dessert, we ordered a coconut-pineapple bubble tea with boba. Don't go in here expecting your food to be prepared, plated, and served as fast as other restaurants. Only two waitresses were working, which is fine. They were very attentive to all the guests.
