Really great food and cocktails. Excellent stop even in the off season

Had a wonderful meal at Whaley's with my wife and another couple. All of us were very happy with the meal and the friendly staff.

Massive crab cake sandwich the one here is more than two on shem creek and twice as delicious with an awesome kicked up remoulade sauce. The flounder was delicious and equally as massive. Wonderful sweet down to earth staff, and prices are very fair especially for what you get. The fact that they've repurposed the building as well really appeals to the environmental side of me as well, so cute and homey how they have done it up, yet still so fun for sports etc.

Whaley's is one of only a few restaurants on Edisto Island. Good food, friendly people. The atmosphere is kind of dive bar or country bar mixed with beach vibes. The pork chop sandwich was good, and the sushi bites (kind of a sushi nacho type thing for appetizer). Decent drinks too.
