Avaliação da contribuiçãoWent to Island Cuisine on a Saturday afternoon. We had beef tagalog and the whole red snapper. Both were absolutely fantastic, cooked to order, fresh and flavorful. The family staff was so nice and friendly. Other patrons raved about their food, and one college aged girl called home to her mother to tell her she finally found good food in the area. We will be back many times.
Really yummy! ? been a few times with my friends and with my family and the food and the owners are lovely ??
Just tried for the first time and it is delicious! I usually don’t like Okra but it’s so good in this dish! Staff was super welcoming and nice as well. Will be back and will recommend to all of my friends
Not sure if these 5 stars are coming from Filipinos., i highly doubt it. Filipinos knows good food and this is not it. If they can mess up a simple and staple Tapsilog.,you know anything beyond that will be mediocre. We asked the lady at the front how 's their Sisig., she answered it 's their highly requested . So we ordered and was excited, hoping that it 's as good as the one we had back in NY. We were disappointed. It don 't even taste like Sisig., a sisig with no liver., seriously? Mind you, this is self service so we 're expecting that they will have enough time to focus on making delicious meals. Boy was I wrong. Not only their plating was terrible but the taste was all way off. Tapa is supposed to be dry., theirs is covered with sauce and comes with (burnt) white rice instead of fried rice. Same with the longanisa, the guy at the back said it 's Quezon longanisa without making eye contact. Excuse me i 'm from Quezon and theirs taste nowhere near Quezon 's Longanisa. It 's like eating spam., actually spam tastes much better, sorry. The only good thing: their soda refill station.,That 's it! Never again.
Coming from Los Angeles, it is very hard to find real authentic Filipino food but Island Cuisine delivers! Some of my favorites are kare kare and sisig! And of course the lumpia ! I'll definitely be back. Amazing food!
