Iowa Machine Shed Watering Hole - Clive

Love the he home style food here. I tried the shed burger with fries tonight , which has BBQ brisket on the burger. The meat was bigger than the bun by far! Delicious!! I'm taking a slice of the apple pie home- hope it makes it home!!

Ordered the catfish dinner--had to return for better cooking--raw middle. The waitress was very friendly and aimed to get it right. The atmosphere was hopping with good down home country music.

Very similar to a Cracker Barrel restaurant, however, this place is very Iowa centric. Cute shop similar to cracker barrel with gift and tourist items all Iowa based. Staff were friendly. I had the grilled chicken caesar salad....very good, I know kinda boring compared to what was available. But it was a fun place and I would recommend.

The atmosphere is homey, service was attentive and great with the kids. The owner was introducing himself and checking in on customers, you could tell he was proud of his business. The kids also loved the tractor ride after we were finished eating.
