Hudson's Seafood House On The Docks

The food was exceptionally fresh! Oysters were fresh and buttery. The Neptune fresh grill was awesome! Blackened was delicious. Also our friends had the same dish but fried. Excellent. Crab cakes were perfect. More crab than filler. That’s what makes a crab cake perfect. Staff is awesome!

First time visitor. I've heard good things about Hudson's. So, I was happy to give it a try. I brought my husband, and we were both pleased. We are inside. There was a good view from most seats in the front room. Started with a drink. I had the blood orange margarita, and my husband had The HH islander I think.it was a frozen drink with strawberry. Yummy. I have never had a low country boil. So, I tried that. It was very good. My husband had the fried flounder sandwich. It was big and tasty. So, food, service, drinks, and atmosphere were are perfect.

Love the outdoor, dockside setting! Came on a busy memorial day weekend and had to wait a little over 1hr for seating but the family loved the meal so very much worth. Plus, there's a lovely waiting outdoor area where you can grab a seat, a beer, and enjoy the water views. Time went by surprisingly quickly. From the overflow parking lot, had a littleee difficulty finding the restaurant but just head left on past Skullcreek Boathouse. There is a separate hostess and waiting list for interior and exterior seating. For exterior seating, head on straight towards the deck. Shrimp was very fresh, crab cake was delicious because there was a subtle spicy kick, catch of the day was a tuna that was also very fresh and tasty. Food portions were very fair and the whole family left feeling STUFFED. Service was amazing and very friendly! Only complaints would be that the cocktails are on the weaker side and it was a bit cramped

Best fish fry on Hilton Head Island. Fresh seafood is brought daily by local fishermen such as shrimp, flounder, oysters and depending on the season. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Order what you want and save a little space for the lush puppies! Remarkable delicacies are the fried Flounder, the Devil's Crab, the fried shrimps and the po' boys. Blackened Shrimp Tacos were also a hit! Beautiful selection of cocktails, wine and beer as well. Bring the whole family, eat well and let yourself be happy!

Our first time at HH and Hudson’s was amazing! The outdoor deck on the water is the perfect spot. Service and food were excellent, such great staff. We were made very welcome and people randomly helped out keeping things moving- (the owner happened by and bussed an oyster bucket and shells from our table). Both our server Alejandro “Alex” and William the manager were attentive and informative about specialties and various dishes. Our first time but definitely not our last. We tried the seafood gumbo, coconut shrimp, steamed oysters and a crab cake. All were fresh, well seasoned and presented beautifully. Thank you again for a lovely afternoon.
