Chiang Rai Thai Cuisine - Cochrane

The food was okay.Very little options for vegitarian.Placebwas clean.It won't survive in the bigger city.Parking: Parking won't be an issue.

High hopes as I love eating Thai food, but the only dish I liked was the mango sticky rice dessert. We ordered the drunken noodles, Tom yum soup, and spicy mussels. The flavours were underwhelming and the drunken noodles were made with what looks like instant noodles…. It should’ve been made with wide rice noodles. Spicy mussels wasn’t spicy and had an unpleasant aftertaste.

The dinners here are fantastic. If you can handle spice, the green curry has the best sauce I’ve ever had in a curry. Their sweet and sour fish will put your typical sweet and sour chicken to shame. Also, their coconut rice has the perfect amount of coconut flavour. This place is one of Cochrane’s hidden gems for sure.

Had a craving for some Thai food and was recommended Chiang Rai in Cochrane. Ordered: spring rolls, Drunken noodles with chicken and Spicy noodles with Beef. The food was hot and delicious. The portions were nice as well. The service at the restaurant was good too. What a great local gem in Cochrane. Will be back to try other things soon.

Outstanding food! Absolutely delicious. We ordered rice chicken wraps, deep fried shrimps, beef and veggies, chicken and spring onions. Outstanding!
