Great, old-fashioned chippy. great service and menu. the fish are huge, as the fish bite, and baked mushrooms are for dying. the best value is their sort box a large sample of their menu.

I called in gareth's chip shop,Portstewart thurs 12.08.2021, I was the only customer in the shop, a woman with glasses who ordered a phone with me? No, I said it will take 20 to 25 minutes, because we had only a massive job. Amazingly from the appalling creation and totalling disgusting lack of proper and professional customer service, I just turned around and went out of business. I have experienced previous incidents of bad customer service, but last night was a completely new low lol my advice on the female hired behind the counter, maybe they should only chips and let someone with better manage speak with potential customers i wont be back in any gareths chip shop again

Absolutely shocking to receive lasagne like this. After taking a bite before realising the state of it and being sick the rest of the nite. so took it back the next day and told nothing they could do.......staff response was disgusting and disappointing

Ate a salad bap outa it one Thursday. Shiting green glup for 4 days in hilltop caravan park public toilets. Least the toilets looked like they were just toilet ducked. Wasn't the man whom I was. Cheers Gareth. Lost 2 stone. #slimfast is nowt compared...to #Garethfast anusol(keep refrigerated. . Ps folks. Leaving them a 4 star review because 4 star rhymes with the sore star Gareths give me. Was sure a holiday I won't forget.

This is a complete waste of money. Ordered a variety box, chips were soggy, onion rings falling apart with grease, chicken goujon burnt within an inch of its life, pepper sauce stone cold and just vile. Nothing about this place says traditional like they call...themselves! Avoiding this place will be extremely easy. NEVER be back again
