Jin's Asian Cafe - College Station

I have been taking my students and mentees here for one on one lunches, at least once per week, if not twice, since the start of semester. And I wanted to like it I really did because it 's convenient, fast service and somewhat healthy... but my experience today was awful. So then I thought, why am I doing this??? Today I ordered the lemon grass pork vermicelli bowl, and the chunks of pork ? , we 're ALL FAT! And because last week I ordered the Pad Thai, and it was also less than satisfactory...noodles in ketchup sauce with absolutely no resemblance to the amazing Thai dish but I settled and said nothing , today I decided to complain.Well... they looked at me, when I complained, like... how dare she! And then I had to wait for a manager to acknowledge my complaint and request for something else... and then 20 minutes later, when my student had finished their meal, my replacement meal arrived. It was chicken pho.So tell me... what other pho soup place do you know that serves, sliced chicken luncheon meat as a chicken in pho soup? Enough!I will take my $34 per visit somewhere else! Thanks but no thanks.

The to go experience is not good. My beef pho had uncooked noodles. My suggestion is to offer options. For those that work and don't go home after picking up a to go bowl, offer cooked noodles.

A definite must go for all students at A&M, the food is great and the lunch special is definitely worth it. Even a good place for a cute date if you live on campus and you're tired of dorm food.Parking: Be careful parking because they allow double parking, and people never listen to move their cars.

Yes. I ordered from Grub Hub for delivery to my Hotel room. Traveling this week and it was rainy and cold all day. I am a Pho fanatic, and this was was legit. The food arrived very hot and fresh. The egg rolls had to cool down for a few minutes prior to eating. I really need this today. Recommend for sure if you are in College Station, TX

I visited the restaurant for a late lunch on a Sunday and ordered the spicy noodle soup with ham and beef brisket. It was delicious! Unfortunately, I accidentally entered too high of a tip and ended up overpaying significantly. I asked if it was possible to refund the extra tip, and the lady at the counter was more than happy to assist, even though it required some calculations and navigating the software. The service was also impressively quick and efficient.
