Avaliação da contribuição5 for atmosphere. 1 star for service. Wouldn’t go back even if I was comped. Terrible hostess and rules. Management should be fired. Owners should be ashamed. You guys are literally G-A-R-B-A-G-E….don’t know how this is a 4.5 star establishment…prolly just the atmosphere…
We always have a great dining experience at Troubles End! The food is delicious especially the fries! I appreciate the gluten free options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is perfect for families with children of all ages. My young kiddos and I love going to Troubles End!
Well we drove down from Doylestown hoping to have a nice brunch. We had heard so much good news about this restaurant that we had to try it ourselves. We arrived around 11 am and ordered our brunch. The Mrs had the special a stuffed waffle rapped in bacon while I had the double stuffed steak sandwich. My sandwich was fine, the meat was a little burned but still edible. The Mrs on the other hand well hers was burnt black on the outside and underdone on the in. I for one don’t understand how the cook could have sent her food out of the kitchen when it was a plain as the sun shines that it was burnt. As for my steak, look it was edible hers on the other hand was not. She was so disappointed that I grabbed my food and we left. All I can say is be aware and that sometimes other people are having a bad day and cooks do too. Good luck hoping your meal will be a good one.
My friend and I stopped in for lunch and few beers. The staff were polite and professional. Our server provided us with greater suggestion for both food and beer. They do not offer flights, but you can purchase 8 oz. pours. All of the beer was great.Their menu has something for every type of eater.
Out to Ursinus for a college visit for my son. After a couple hours of walking the campus we were ready for something to eat and drink. TEB was only a few minutes away and had pretty good reviews so we decided to try it out. If this is your first time here the entrance isn't exactly obvious. There is a large main building but there are multiple businesses onsite. There is outdoor seating but we were perhaps early for that. After entering the main door go up a set of stairs for the restaurant entrance. It was late afternoon and only a few people were in the brew house so we were seated right away. If you've been to a brew house, any brew house, you know what to expect. Wide open, visible distilleries, a scent of old beer... comes with the territory. The food menu is done with QR codes, the food itself was pretty typical for this type of restaurant but with a twist. I tried the fried cauliflower and it was fabulous! I also had the General Tso's chicken sandwich, like I said typical with a twist. The beer list was pretty extensive, I only tried one beer but it was very good. Our waiter was on point, helpful and available without being too much. Price is inline with the food, overall a very good experience.
