Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe had the chance to walk around Collingwood Harbor and stumbled upon the chip truck. The man working there was very friendly and shared some local knowledge while we waited for our food. The taste was excellent and the prices were great, definitely a must-try if you're in the area!
We stopped here for lunch and ordered the fish and chips with a small coleslaw. The fish was fresh, beautiful, and hot. The fries were also delicious, as many people had raved about them. However, our coleslaw was not delivered with our meal. There were plenty of parking spots available, but it was unclear where we were supposed to park. It would be helpful if they clarified this for customers who are picking up orders to take home. The restaurant also has a lovely covered seating area, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
Eat pretty good, nice location. a little expensive. owner can be quite rude as she speaks to customers. probably not going back
I have to admit, I came here for the fries. Sitting by the waterfront and taking in the view of the Georgian Bay after a nice walk with my dog is a perfect way to spend a peaceful afternoon. It's just fantastic.
My husband and I have been regulars here for about 4 years and it is just terrific. Carol and James are great, friendly people with an equally friendly staff. A lot of attention goes into the handmade items. My favorites are the Pulled Pork Sandwich,...the fried pickles, the fries, and the onion rings. The hubby loves the fish tacos. It is a little pricey, but absolutely worth it given the amount of work that goes into the food and the quality of it. Whenever I eat Pulled Pork elsewhere, I am usually disappointed. The Chipper has ruined me for any other pulled pork sandwiches. As a bonus, the location is a nice place to enjoy while we eat. Having Kawartha Dairy ice cream there isn't a bad thing either! Love that Salty Caramel!
