Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy wife and I stopped over in Colombey-les-deluxe-eglises on the basis of a strong recommendation. We had been looking forward to dining at Hostellerie Montagne for nearly a year. Much to our relief we were not disappointed. The welcome and service was both friendly and...attentive. Good restaurants can be overbearing but this was a pleasure to dine at. The oriental themed decor was superb, somehow managing to blend with the delightful French vistas through the windows. Tasty amuses bouches arrived on the terrace during pre-dinner drinks and we went to our table at our own pace. A choice of menus were available, all with a range of offerings to tantalise. We opted for the Zen menu though by the end of our six courses plus cheese we were struggling a little to see the Zen connection. Never mind, each dish was well presented and tasty with fresh ingredients and a good deal of imagination. The wine list offered a good choice to complement the food. We chose a couple of half bottles of Burgundy and both went really well with the meal, without breaking the bank. If I 'm honest the experience was excellent rather than stunning but I 'd have no hesitation in going back. It was clear that the kitchen team is dedicated to excellence so a great dining experience is guaranteed.
I Did not like the Japanese influence and decor in this lovely old stone building. As for the food, it all looked very beautiful, but the taste did not match the looks. Service was not of Michelon standard, very perfunctory, a left napkin just dumped...in the middle of the table, a mosquito in wine just dismissed.
As every year we came to the regio champagne-Ardennes to do the route du champagne. I came across Chef Natali 's restaurant in the Michelin Guide, being a big fan, I had to try it. I called last minute (the day before), and even though the...restaurant was packed, they did their utmost best to accommodate all 7 of us. When we got to the hostellerie (beautiful french country-side- style), we had a bottle of champagne in their garden first with complimentary amuse-bouches . We had a bottle of Drapier, one of my favorites! At an incredibly reasonable price for a michelin restaurant. We continued inside and the service even got better (if possible at this stage), the maitre made us a customized menu with fish or meat depending on each ones taste. The food was just delicious and soo reasonable priced! The wine too!!we had local red and white, both a real pleasure to drink. I strongly recommend going to restaurant Natali
We have a home in the Vaucluse and after the Lock Down in London we were on our way there. We stayed and dined at this hotel last year and this was going to be our first meal in a restaurant for over three months.We...were in no way disappointed. It was a wonderful dinner with three excellent glasses of very economical champagne from a local vineyard. Perfect service and each dish original and delicious. Legally we had to have breakfast in our room and this was a bit disappointing since we had to telephone the hotel to get our orders completed. IWe look forward to returning.
We came to dinner with great expectations, but this was already tempered when we saw the prices on the menu: starters from 35€, main courses (eg. rabbit) for 60€. This could be justified by the quality of the food, but it was delicious without anything...more to say about it. There were no flowers or candles on the tables and we hardly saw a maitre d'hotel. We also stayed in the hotel, but we didn't receive a bottle of water in the room and the coffee making facility was only soluble Nescaffe. The view was indeed beautifiul
