It may not look like much from the outside, but inside, it feels just like grandma's house. The home-cooked meals are delicious, everything is kept clean, and the coffee is fantastic. Plus, the warm smiles and convenient showers make it a cozy spot. It's like a smaller version of the very best!

On June 27, 2022, at 4:55 PM, I called the Royal Truck Stop before heading there at night to check if there was parking available. I was informed by the lady that overnight parking costs $75. However, I later found that Petro/TA charges only $25. The owner responded to my review to clarify that the correct overnight parking rate is actually $25, which is more typical for this area. Because of this correction, I'm increasing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars.

This truck stop has a tense atmosphere with security guards constantly eyeing everyone, making it uncomfortable for visitors. The staff at the bank is quite rude and unhelpful, offering little assistance to customers. Instead of a friendly service, they often give a dismissive attitude as soon as you approach to make a payment. As someone who spends around $12,000 a night here for my fleet, I find this experience frustrating. They really need to improve their customer service.
