Avaliação da contribuiçãoThursday at the h. so many people that when you take some cheeses and some wines you can't drink in the bar, you can't find room to accommodate you. Maybe on some side of your feet you can eat. too much noise... and the price? for cheese cuñas? quite disappointing despite how beautiful it can be...
Built in the xx s. with iron structure. inaugurated in 1916 as a market for abastos and in 2009 became a gastronomic market. it has rectangular floor, two floors high and 1200 m2. Currently the posts, are bars. great to cover. It's a place worth visiting but it's usually full.
The market itself was born in the open air and was next to the ancient octopus church, demolished in 1809. In 1911, the dube alfonso was entrusted with the construction of a structure for the market that it took as reference to the paris rooms. In the 1990s the market did not go through its best moment and closed provisionally to renew and give it the present aspect, something that was given in May 2009 with its reopening. has different posts with very varied offers. price higher than the average.
The market deserves a visit, traditional and tourist at the same time offers tapas of all kinds. beautiful also only to see, rich in colors and perfumes. Recommended!
I daydream of my mornings we spent here during our few days in Madrid.
