Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe food was extremely oily and drenched in oil. Many items on the menu were unavailable and the prices were too high considering the quality and portion size. I do not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.
My roommates and I decided to try out this restaurant tonight. We initially thought it was Song In Gak, as we had walked past it many times in the past year. Even though it wasn't the restaurant we had intended to visit, we decided to give it a shot. The atmosphere of the restaurant was disappointing, as there was minimal decor and no background music. The overall vibe reminded me more of a hospital cafeteria than a dining establishment, especially considering the higher prices. We ordered sweet and sour pork, fried rice, and spicy beef, along with a $3 noodle soup. The menu was easy to follow, with pictures of each dish which made ordering more straightforward, especially for someone less familiar with this cuisine. The food received high praise from all of us. The spicy beef had the perfect level of heat, starting mild and lingering pleasantly. The sweet and sour pork was also delicious. However, the fried rice was a letdown as it lacked seasoning and was served late, after we had finished the other dishes, making it impossible to enjoy the sauce from the meat dishes. The portion size of the $10 fried rice and $3 soup was good value for money, but the $15 main dishes were smaller than expected. The service was good, with an attentive waitress who kept our drinks filled. However, the order in which the dishes were served was a bit of a letdown, with the soup coming after the main dishes and before the fried rice. In conclusion, the food was delicious, but the restaurant could improve its atmosphere, pricing, and dish organization.
