Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe ate here because the lonely planet leader recommended it. The service was really friendly, we didn't have to wait long for everything. The court my partner wanted, however, was not available, the only vegetarian option was a simple salad. So.
I usually don't place to lunch at this place, but I'm a habit for afternoon snack, where they serve delicious homemade bread with milk jam o dulce de leche, as we do in argentina. Since it is a typical place, there is always a lot of foreign visitors and has an upper balcony to admire the sky and the colorful and loud street of the craftsmen. Best weekend visits
I went to La Nieta because it was recommended by Lonely Planet and I decided not to go to such places anymore. It was a total disaster. That was the worst restaurant to date during my entire trip to Argentina. The service was bad because there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. The food I ordered was terrible, so I even had to complain. I don't know what people liked in this place.
I visited La Nieta twice during Cordoba for a month. The first time was for coffee in the late afternoon. We sat outside on the upper deck, enjoy the weather and live music (guitar and clarinet). I would definitely recommend it as a place to relax for tea. The second visit was my last night in Cordoba for dinner, with a group of 13. The staff was amazing, incredibly accommodating. We sat up again, in the 'covered' area. Unfortunately it was quite cold outside, and the small heating she had for the covered area was not enough at all, and most of our group ate with our coats. I ate pasta for dinner, which was delicious. Other eating companions had steak, which I thought was a little on the hard side.
We were up on the outdoor deck (a bit of a tough climb for seniors, btw. and it started to rain. Our wait staff immediately and most cheerfully helped everybody move under cover. The place just came across as friendly and laid back. The menu is small, but we three found three different pastas to delight very tasty, though the Tallarines (noodles were a bit too 'al dente ' for my husband 's liking. At the end of the meal, the wait staff said they would have taken them back for a rerun if he had asked, however he didn 't... The service is a bit slow, but this is Argentina. We enjoyed our meal.
