Today, I went to a restaurant with my friends to have a burrito. After ordering and having it prepared, I was told that they only accepted card payments, something that should have been mentioned beforehand. My friends and I were left feeling awkward as we waited for someone to transfer money onto my card. The staff had a negative attitude and seemed to be staring at us throughout the ordeal. The tables were dirty and the staff at the front of the shop were laughing, which added to the unpleasant experience. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I found this whole situation to be a disgrace. The food itself was only okay.
Ordered a twojum online with my boyfriend, one burrito and one burrito bowl (for me as i’m a coeliac) and after waiting an HOUR AND A HALF for the delivery, opened up the bag and found two burritos. Also didn’t have the chickpea in that i paid extra for (my boyfriend ended up eating it). Rang the restaurant and they didn’t even offer a replacement, just said to call Just Eat for a refund. Just Eat were quick to refund and helpful thankfully. Super upset that i had to wait that long all for a wrong order.
Had to walk away and leave my food as they don't accept cash!!! Looked like a dogs dinner anyway.....
Came here with friends and enjoyed the burrito I ordered. There was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were pleasant.
