Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe were staying in the local area last week and decided to have a Sunday roast here. Wow! The food was absolutely delicious.. the best roast I think I’ve ever had. Berry crumble and custard for dessert was beyond amazing. The atmosphere was warm and cosy. We had a small issue with one of the kids meals which was dealt with and rectified immediately. We cannot wait to visit Hayle and The Cornish Arms again! Thank you
All the girls were miserable, no one asked how our meal was the answer would have been…awful, £16.50 for a child’s size roast with lamb full of gristle, a piece of hard grilled cauliflower, three lousy potatoes and some sort of brown tasteless water full of oil they call gravy… after paying for the meal we left and still said thank you to the staff and not one of the 5 waitresses who were stood staring into thin air even bothered to reply or even acknowledges us leaving. Terrible food, terrible service will not be returning.
I was extremely disappointed with the Sunday roast I ordered at this restaurant, especially considering the price of £16.50. The portion size was small and I was left hungry after finishing it. I was also disappointed that it didn't come with a Yorkshire pudding, and when I requested one, I was told it wasn't possible. The gravy was also very poor. Overall, I had high expectations for this place but left feeling unsatisfied. The staff did not have a good attitude either.
Went today for a Sunday roast. Unfortunately let down with the roast itself, was only slightly warm with some undercooked and crunchy veg. The dessert made up for a bit as they were rather nice. Good beer. Wouldn't return for a Sunday roast
Very quaint and comfortable local pub, staff very friendly and attentive. Went for Sunday lunch, and I couldn't fault it. Good selection of local ales, ciders, and spirits.
