No reply. Fast forward to today. I was passing, so popped in to see if I could pick up a tub for this weekend. I spoke to the bloke in there who said he remembered my email (but didn’t reply) and that they didn’t sell in bulk. I pointed out that the website said they did and was told the website had been out of date for ages. Rubbish.
We visited Charlestown a couple of times while we were staying in Cornwall. On both occasions we stopped by to grab pasties for lunch. Great pasties at a handy location with outdoor seating which is perfect for us and our three Labradors.
A quiet little cafe with outside seating. We made a few visits during our week stay in Charlestown. The range of ice cream flavours is amazing. It was difficult to decide which to try first. We had the waffles. I chose the cream tea waffles: cream and jam with scone crumbled over the top. Also they sold pasties. First time my some had tried a Cornish pasty.
This ice cream shop is very overpriced for the portion size. The coffee is also expensive. In other words, it's a rip-off! When I complained, they blamed it on the new staff, but the size of the ice cream scoop and coffee container is the same for all staff to use. After escalating the issue, I was eventually told to go back to Wales.
Got sweets and pasties to take back home after our holiday. Very helpful and friendly . Amazing range for such a small place.
