The Kings Head

We visited The Kings Head restaurant years ago and had a great experience. After not visiting for a few years, we decided to book a table and were delighted to find that the quality of the food and service had not changed. We both had the best lamb apron ever, cooked to perfection with excellent vegetables. The prawn cocktail was also superb. The restaurant offers smaller main courses for those who cannot manage a full meal, which we appreciated. The value for the meals was great. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always happy whenever we visited. We were so impressed that we made a point to travel to the restaurant just to eat there. We are looking forward to our next holiday in Cornwall so we can return. Highly recommended. Andy and Sue.

Went into for a fast drink, but stayed longer than chat with staff and locals..all very friendly and had a great night. next night back to dinner. eating was good and fresh. good value. restaurant clean and many people eat there. will definitely be back....Locals be bee and apples..very nice

Rather than stay on the in or out of Cornwall take a small detour to this Gem. Look past the grotty car park, go inside. The decor might be dated and worn but the food is good here. Well stocked with local produce. Well...priced and will fill anyones tummy to burst. Daily Specials which are truly daily as they are seasonal and what can be purchased at the market.
