Restaurant U Campanile - Corte

Had a vegeterian Thai Wok bowl, which was perfect. Normal prices. Clean place. Good table and seats. Friendly waitress. And maybe helpful to know: a good mobile internet connection available.

Very good village restaurant. Local map and very reasonable menu at 25€. We don't push to consumption, advising the pichet rather than the bottle. The terrace must be very nice in the summer. But the inside is cozy when it's frizzy. Nice choice of local perfume ice cream.

Originally from the nearby village, I was eaten twice in this restaurant. If you are looking for traditional homemade Corsican cuisine at good prices, this is the right place! The menu is simple and short but representative of the Corsican family kitchen. I advise the eyes closed all the dishes even if I only tasted the doughnuts and meat in sauce. The dishes are quite copyy for the price and you will not be disappointed with the taste. The service is also pleasant and warm but may be a bit of speed which is not necessarily a disadvantage when you are on vacation Home desserts and traditional Corsican ice cream are also worth a visit.

Located at the heart of the old part of town up the hill, we've been drawn by the nice location, the wide front terrace and the tens of already seated clients. The design was simple but pleasant, with the interior old-styled wall-bricked area far more peculiar than the outside space. The menu was long enough and very corse, which we appreciated. The service was polite, smiley and rather quick. Although the food was kind of well received, the plating was a bit amiss and dispassionate and the overall taste was sort of meh. Compared to other restaurants, we didn't find it particularly special. Price and quality ratio was appropriate. Would recommend but would probably not come back.

Cosy terrace, good service, great food and great food choices, reasonably priced. We would certainly love to eat here again. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel reception and we loved it.
