The Golden Ball Inn - Cotswold

While we were staying in an Airbnb nearby, we visited this restaurant a couple of times. The staff was really friendly, they had a good selection of drinks, and the food was great. We particularly enjoyed the pie! Another bonus is that they are dog friendly.

Wow, what a change! Ever since the new owners took over last year, the food quality, service level, and atmosphere of this charming Cotswolds pub have improved greatly. Our Sunday lunch was one of the best we've ever had. The staff were wonderful, and the setting was perfect for a leisurely stroll afterwards. Highly recommend!

Travelling from OS (Aust) but staying nearby I insisted we go local. This was a FANTASTIC local pub experience walking distance from where we were staying. Genuine people and genuine food. Overall highly rated and a **** great feed. We had 30 days around the UK, this was THE BEST local pub we encountered across the UK.

Well filled and tasty sandwiches, a good selection served with root veg crisps and salad leaves or chips for an extra £2 all served with a smile.
