Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe previous restaurant is now closed and Paula's Cakes is no longer in business. However, there is a new cake shop a few doors down. I haven't tried it yet, but the cakes look delicious and are available by the slice.
Ordered a fresh cream chocolate cake for mothers day and i certainly was not dissapointed. the cake looked stunning and tasted delicious. will certainly be visiting soon
We have ordered cakes from this place for various occasions, including weddings, birthdays, cupcakes, cake pops, and even just a slice of cake to enjoy with tea. We have never been disappointed. The chocolate and carrot cakes are exceptional, and the prices are unbeatable. The service is always top-notch, with Paula offering helpful suggestions and advice while ensuring the cakes meet your preferences. If there is any issue, she is quick to resolve it. Regardless of the type of cake ordered, we have always been impressed by the quality, taste, and value for money. Highly recommended.
I paid £300 for my wedding cake and was very disappointed with the result. It did not look like the cake I had requested, and I was unable to serve the fruit cake because it was inedible. Additionally, the middle cake was supposed to be chocolate but was actually sponge. I was so dissatisfied that I threw away the business card of the baker.
We popped in today on hearing about the shop on facebook, and were not disappointed, we had a lovely pot of tea served in a old fashioned teapot !! ,, lovely place ,, very attentive staff ,, I will definatly be returning
