Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe learn about the restaurant la grandze, because we are regularly guests of the winter restaurant of the family in the mountains (chateau branlant in the ski resort courmayeur; best pamper them after a ski day). this time we decided to the summer. dependency to give an attempt and that was the discovery of the season! it is a real hideaway far down in the val ferret (don't give up and after the golf course turn left) and is worth the trip! we decided to go for an excellent common starter (raw ham with mushrooms, birne and chutney), followed by homemade pasta (cachenuts ravioli and mushroom tagliolini both choices were skyml course) and finally had lamm and tagliline all were served quickly, hot and beautifully decorated. the wee recommendation was simply perfect and well balanced and a good price for worth and the young service team gave us the impression to welcome. this place was a wonderful surprise and we are happy to visit it again next summer season. Five * plus!
New and promising management that we hope will not change the orientation: excellent dishes with typical ingredients in just quantity between Messaya, sapling, butter of bread. clean, fast, valid...in a clearing of the valley really exciting. sin among sweets there is no crispy cake (but they are all own production and there is only a bathroom (only physically a dish.) great selection of wines especially local
How bad. this was our favorite restaurant in courmayeur, but we don't like it anymore. the management has installed a oppressive white soonachin that covers the entire terrace and prevents any prospect of the beautiful landscape around it. view of the forests and mountains was...always the best plant this place, it has now gone (at least for the people who eat under the soon-achine in a blunt and claustrophobic atmosphere). Moreover, this restaurant has a hauch of charm: ecru towel sunshades, tasty tablecloths, etc. the huge white soonachin makes it now like the annual santa margherita “sagra”. large and volcanic, after our opinion. and yet pricelike as before. eating was nothing to write home. ravioli was a very small part (eur 14), and tiramisu had no cookies in it (eur 6). add to this “coperto” by eur 2, and this is the price they pay in much more beautiful restaurants. great disappointment.
2 appetizers, 3 main courses and tiramisu for desert all excellent quality and fresh. fish, river trout, was super fresh and well prepared, pasta was homemade and tortellinis heavenly. each individual dish had its unique, pure taste. the chef had no. compromised in the selection of high quality ingredients yet he had killed the original taste with a strong flavor. service was friendly and pleasant atmosphere. we sat on the terrase, which was overcome by massive mountains, waterfalls and a glacier. after eating in the rest, the midday guests in the rungs with lazy chairs, slippery digestives and enjoy the amazing overages. could not have been better!
Very nice and quiet location, great outside surface for warmer days. interesting menu, richer than other restaurants in the environment. good quality, not excellent, in their local kitchen. friendly service.
