Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe best pub in the city! the atmosphere is cozy and a lot of events such as karaoke night and live music. the personal is friendly and the guinness is great. would recommend jumping into the shipyard inn for a few pints!
I and 2 friends decided to come for a day before court, decided to have 3 suppenen to sue the place, suppe lasted 30 minutes and was out of a package, they would have been better to glue the walls with it. after a spoon I immediately felt sick and went to the bathroom, and I would lie if I said it was anything but a hose of koks came out of my mouth. I'll tell you one thing for one thing, you'd catch more than covide
Stopped in here for a quick pint before going back to Dublin , landlady offered us a pint of her son 's stout Brennan 's Brewery Smoothpour , all I can say is Guinness now for the first time have real competition , this stuff needs to be all over the country, just booked a room in Courttown for the night so I can drink more of this stuff...
While visiting Courtown, my partner, his friend, his children aged 8 and 10, and I decided to enjoy a quiet drink at a pub after a nice day out. Unfortunately, we were told that children were not allowed on the premises past 8pm, but could stay for one drink. Despite this policy, we observed a large family with a young child playing with a football, as well as a table with minors drinking. Our children were well-behaved, playing on their Nintendo when we asked for a second drink, only to be denied. Even after pointing out the inconsistency in enforcing the rule, we were still refused. We believe that the pub's selective policy towards visitors and locals is disappointing, and a tourist town should not turn away potential business in such a manner.
During my vacation in Courtown, myself, two other adults, and my two sons aged 10 and 8 visited this restaurant for a drink. We were informed that children had to leave the premises by 8, which seemed odd for a holiday village. However, after 8, I noticed someone with a child playing with a ball while my kids were sitting and being served. When my friend tried to order a drink, we were told it was too late for kids. The barperson, Catriona, who was the owner, mentioned that there should be one rule for everyone, but it seemed like there was a double standard. There are many other places to visit in Courtown, so I would recommend skipping this one.
